About me
Juliana, a California native, started her career in the beauty industry in 2007, and has worked with top salons and trained under some of the best colorists and stylists in both San Francisco and New York. Working as a bicoastal colorist, her main home is in New York, and she continues to travel to San Francisco once a season to see her wonderful clients.
Juliana breathes color and is often caught day dreaming about her next idea. She’s constantly finding inspiration in nature- the way light touches trees and plants, the sunsets on a summer day, natural highlights in children’s hair, individuals on the street. She is heavily influenced by the relaxed and carefree approach to beauty and wellness from growing up in California, as well as the effortlessness of French beauty. Juliana paints hair with the idea that blondes should sparkle, brunettes should glow, redheads should be vivacious- and that each individual should leave her chair looking and feeling like the happiest version of themselves.
Along her journey over the past 13 years, Juliana developed a passion for a 360-degree approach to self care. Her belief is that inner and outer beauty is deeply connected; it’s a high vibe- a feeling, the way you talk about yourself and others, the way you take care of yourself, the foods you are nourishing yourself with, and how you express yourself in the way you dress, and how you wear your hair. Juliana believes that your hair is your “vibe,” which is the highest expression of yourself; the way you express individuality and how you choose to be seen.
Juliana’s clients are used to her coaching them on foods and vitamins to encourage their hair and body to stay healthy, as well as homemade masks and treatments, a wide array of product recommendations, and home remedies. Her clients over the years have built a trust in their relationship that is unique, personal, and very individual.
