There is no one better suited than California native Chelsea Luther to represent Women’s month. Chelsea is the founder of thank you, Gratitude. Her mission is to help women consciously create the life of their dreams through Gratitude work. She has created a career in which she selflessly devotes her time to nurturing, healing, coaching, and sharing her gracious heart with her clients. Chelsea has created a safe space for women who are looking to reclaim their power and joy through inner work with her gentle guidance and kindest intention. With this we say to Chelsea:

1.What ritual do you have for starting your day?

As soon as I wake up I set a 5 minute timer and free-write in my journal. This serves as a way to dump all my thoughts, feelings, anxieties and just get all the bullshit out of the way immediately! Next, I write 3 things I’m Grateful for and set 3 daily intentions. Then, I read through my goals and affirmations (I have them all written down on one piece of paper that I use as a bookmark in my journal). Finally, I do an 8-12 minute meditation. Altogether, this ritual only takes 20-25 minutes each morning.

2. What 3 books do you think everyone should read?

Ask and it is Given by Abraham Hicks, The Happiness Advantage by Shawn Achor, and Bella Figura by Kamin Mohammadi.

3. What is beauty to you?

Being fully immersed in presence

4. What motivates you? Freedom. 

5. What color do you wear when you want to feel empowered?

Black! Always my go-to when I need to feel fabulous!

6. What is your life manifesto?

Gratitude is the most powerful tool you have to transform your life. When you learn to live through Gratitude, you are able to consciously create the life of your dreams.

7. Who is your ultimate style icon? Dua Lipa is my GIRL.

8. How do you nurture your self esteem?

I’m BIG on self love affirmations. I have a bunch of them. I recite them morning and evening and I have them written on sticky notes around my house. When I feel in need of extra nurturing, I actually dedicate a journal to writing down and reframing all of my self-judgments. I’ll write down whatever negative thoughts I have about myself as they come up. Then I will immediately cross the thought out, and rewrite another thought that actually supports me.

9. What do you do when you need to recharge?

I take myself out to dinner. Solo dinner dates are one of my favorite things. Whenever I’m feeling stuck or antsy or burnt out...this is my go to! I bring a book and a journal and turn my phone on airplane mode so I can be fully present.

10. What is your spirit animal?

Hummingbirds. They symbolize joy and positive energy. I also love how fearless they are and how fast they move. They will get right up in your face with no shame and BUZZ buzz buzz!

11. What language would you love to learn?

Italian!! Florence has my heart.
